Tool questions
How do I use this tool?
Search or browse the symbols and click one to copy it. You can add a symbol or selected color to your current gradient without replacing its text.
Will every symbol appear in Minecraft?
No. Glyph support depends on edition, version, resource pack, font and server filtering. Test symbols where you plan to use them. A missing glyph can appear as a box.
Are ampersand codes vanilla Minecraft formatting?
An ampersand color code is commonly interpreted by plugins. It is not universal vanilla chat syntax. Section-sign legacy codes also only work in text contexts that support them.
Do Java and Bedrock formatting codes match?
They share many base color codes, but Bedrock includes additional colors and its formatting behavior differs. Java underline and strikethrough are not portable Bedrock formats. Use the documentation for your target.
What happens to my gradient draft?
Adding a symbol appends it to your current text; adding a color changes the first color stop. Unsaved edits stay in memory while you navigate tools in this tab. A reload clears unsaved work. Save draft keeps a browser-local copy; Clear current draft and Clear saved draft remove the respective versions.
